Description:
MusicMan Academy is seeking a talented Videographer/Photographer to capture the excitement, energy, and essence of our summer camps. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both music and visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create compelling digital content for social media and promotional use.
Responsibilities:
Capture high-quality photographs and videos of camp activities, performances, workshops, and special events.
Create engaging visual content that highlights the unique experiences and atmosphere of MusicMan Academy.
Collaborate with camp staff to understand key moments and themes to capture.
Edit and retouch photographs/videos to ensure the highest quality output.
Manage and organize digital media files for easy access and retrieval.
Coordinate with the marketing team to provide content for promotional materials, website updates, and email campaigns.
Maintain photography and videography equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
Regularly post photos, videos, and stories to MusicMan Academy’s social media accounts to increase engagement and visibility.
Monitor social media activity, respond to comments/messages, and engage with the community to foster a strong online presence.
Coordinate with the marketing team to provide content for promotional materials, website updates, and email campaigns.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a videographer/photographer, with a portfolio showcasing a strong command of composition, lighting, and storytelling.
Proficiency in digital videography/photography techniques and equipment, including DSLR cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with camp staff and campers.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to visual content creation.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of music or experience working in a music-related environment is a plus.

Requirements:
Bachelors of Music Education or equivalent experience
Specialization in Brass, Woodwinds, Strings, and/or Percussion.
Specialization in beginner players and/or intermediate instruction

Camp Dates: June 16 - June 27, 2025
This role provides group lessons during specific times during camp.
Description:
Provides campers with a group lesson setting and builds on young musicians band/orchestra experience; provides context of harmony, accompaniment and access to new opportunities with their band/orchestra instrument and their harmonic instrument; provides accessible musical examples for campers to learn.
Requirements:
Bachelors of Music Education or equivalent experience
Experience teaching group lessons

Camp Dates: July 7 - 11, 2025
Description:
Leads instrumentalists in small and large group instruction based on instrument section; leads a small jazz combo; submits daily lesson plans to Director of Education for their section; supports section and ties lesson plan to other curricular camp experiences
Requirements:
Bachelors of Music Education or equivalent experience
Specialization in Brass, Woodwinds, Strings, and/or Percussion.
Specialization in intermediate instruction

Camp Dates: July 14-18, 2025
Description:
Leads instrumentalists in small and large group instruction based on instrument section; submits daily lesson plans to Director of Education for their section; supports section and ties lesson plan to other curricular camp experiences.

Description:
Provides support for families, staff and campers for a successful camp experience by facilitating communication, organization of materials and administrative office duties.
Requirements:
Must provide reference(s)
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc).
